1. Choose Recipes, Recs, or Community

Open Recipes and use the view switch beside the title. Recipes is Savor's own library, designed for cooking while entertaining. Recs is Savor's curated selection of recipes and cookbooks we have tried and recommend. Community brings together recommendations from other cooks.

You can browse all three before signing in. Use Savor curated recs when you want a pick the team has cooked, or Community recs to discover what other people recommend. A community recommendation may include the contributor's own words and a link to their profile when available.

In Recs or Community, pick a recipe type or a video to narrow that view's list. Selecting a video shows its related recommendations; All clears the filters. Use a video's platform link to watch the original post.

2. Open the recipe

On a recommendation, View recipe or View book takes you to the original source. Some recommendations also have a recipe you can save directly in Savor.

The original recipe or cookbook stays credited to its creator. Some links may be affiliate links that support Savor at no extra cost to you; the recommendations page includes a disclosure.

Sign in to read full published Savor recipes. The recipe page brings ingredients and cookware together with cooking steps. An overview video appears when one is available.

3. Save it to My Recipes

On a Savor recipe, select Save or Add to My Recipes. On a recommendation with a saveable recipe, select Save to My Recipes. If you are browsing while signed out, choose Save recipe and sign in; Savor returns you to the recommendation and finishes the save.

The recommendation's Saved link opens your copy. You can also open My Recipes from your account menu to browse the collection you have saved. Recommendations that only link to a book or outside page may not offer a save button.

Free accounts and membership

A free account can save up to 5 recipes. An active membership includes unlimited saved recipes and Text Savor. If your free collection is full, Savor will ask you to join when you try to add another recipe.

4. Bring your own recipes

Members can send a link or photo to Text Savor and ask it to import the recipe. Open My Recipes with the same account connected to your messages to find the result. Review the imported ingredients and instructions before cooking, and edit your saved copy as you try substitutions or refine the recipe.

If your account has access to Import Recipe on the website, you can also use that tool to import links, photos, or pasted text.

5. Scale, print, and cook

Use the recipe's scaling control to adjust ingredient quantities for your kitchen. Gram weights appear where provided. Check the steps and equipment as you change the batch size.

Choose Print for a printable recipe at your selected scale. When planning a virtual Savor with a group, use the recipe picker to offer recipes from the Savor library or your saved collection.
