1. Connect your membership

Sign in to your Savor account with an active membership. Open Message in the menu and select Text Savor. This opens a conversation in your messaging app; send the message and follow any account-connection instructions Savor replies with.

Keep using that conversation when you need help. Connecting it to your account lets Savor find your saved recipes and the groups you belong to.

2. Ask a cooking question

Describe what you need in your own words. Try “What can I make with chickpeas and spinach?” or “What can I use instead of buttermilk?” You can ask for measurement conversions, recipe ideas, or help understanding a cooking step.

If you are asking about a particular recipe, include its name or link so Savor knows which one you mean.

3. Save recipes and make shopping lists

When Savor finds a recipe you like, say “Save that to My Recipes.” You can send a recipe link or photo and ask Savor to import it, too. Open the saved recipe on the website to review it and add your own edits.

Ask “Make a grocery list for this recipe” when you are ready to shop. Savor can provide a list link you can reopen on the website. Tell it how many people you are cooking for and check the amounts before shopping.

4. Plan with your group

Try “What Savors do I have coming up?” or “Help me plan a Savor with Sunday Dinner Crew.” You can ask Savor to create a group, get an invitation link, or help with dates and recipe choices. You can also submit your own votes by text.

Name the group or cooking night clearly. The host controls changes to that Savor's plan, while other members can participate and manage their own preferences.

5. Review changes before confirming

For actions such as closing voting, confirming a plan, changing a confirmed plan, or canceling a Savor, Savor sends a preview and a six-digit code. Read the preview, then reply with the code to apply the change.

If the preview is wrong, explain what should change. The confirmation step gives you a chance to check the people, date, and recipe before the action happens.

Manage reminders and account details

Open Preferences and use Notifications to manage email and text updates. Text reminders need a connected messaging number, and at least one notification channel stays enabled.

Pausing proactive reminders still lets you start a direct conversation for cooking help. For address, phone, or payment changes, follow Savor's secure account link to finish on the website.
