How to Give a Savor Membership as a Gift

A Savor gift membership gives someone recipes to cook, recipe cards to keep, and a way to plan cooking nights with friends. It works for someone who wants fresh dinner ideas on their own, too: the monthly mail club does not require planning a group night.

Open Membership and choose Gift Savor. Sign in, then choose a duration from the gift options below. Each gift is a one-time payment for the selected term.

• 3 months: $15 paid once
• 6 months: $30 paid once
• 12 months: $50 paid once

Enter your name, the recipient's name and email, and an optional personal message. Choose the date Savor should email the gift, then complete checkout. Use the email the recipient will use for their Savor account.

The delivery date is for the gift email. It is separate from the start of membership and from the arrival of any printed recipe cards.

Once the gift email arrives, the recipient follows its link and signs in with the same email address. They may need to verify that email to claim it. Their prepaid membership starts when they claim the gift, so opening it later does not use up the gifted months.

The recipient adds their own mailing address in Membership to receive recipe cards. The sender does not need to collect an address or choose recipes on their behalf.

Gift membership includes unlimited saved recipes, Text Savor for cooking help and recipe imports, unlimited group cooking nights, and the monthly mail club. Members receive a pre-release recipe card by mail each month. Participants in a confirmed virtual Savor also receive a card for that night's recipe.

Browse Savor curated recs for recipes the team has tried and recommends, or Community recs for suggestions from other cooks. Save available recipes to My Recipes and use Text Savor to help turn an idea into dinner.

The gift does not automatically renew. It is prepaid for the selected term; an annual subscription is a separate membership option billed each year.
